Memberships for 2012
I can hardly believe it either. Mere weeks after our northern cousins claimed their first Super title, here we are talking about season 2012.
But what a season it’s going to be! Despite our final ladder position, the Rebels showed glimpses of the amazing things this team could be capable of. Whether it’s matching it with the might of the Sharks, coming up trumps in epic tugs-of-war with the Brumbies and Force, or delivering a clinical smackdown to the Hurricanes, our Melbourne boys performed far above what some pundits expected, and proved that we belonged in the greatest provincial competition in the world.
So, why’s this year going to be so awesome? Well, all our players have another year under their belt. Some players will have experienced their first year of Super Rugby and will be more comfortable in their surroundings. Some players will have had their first taste of international rugby and will be better for the experience. Some players will hopefully stop hitting Chapel Street as regularly as they have been. Not to mention this guy, this guy and this guy.
So, becoming a member is more important than ever. Not only are you financially supporting the club, you get to be a close part of something that could become pretty special.
Remember, to join the Army, all you have to do is grab the Blue membership, although all members are welcome to join in the fun!
