Nev mate, you’ve hit the nail on the head. The rugby community in Victoria have been quietly simmering away watching the progress of the Rebels. It’s all been positive, and continues to be positive. Come February I think we’ll all be ready to explode. And yes, the foreign players mean we haven’t damaged local rugby. Another yes to the value-adding with our recruiting!

I’ve been a Chiefs supporter since they started, having grown up in Hamilton, still have a season pass, but I was always going to support a local Melbourne Super team as this is my home now, makes no difference who they sign, even the Evil Wizard Mortlock.

I am an avid Super Rugby Supporter. My background is a little diverse. After growing up in cape town and supporting the Stormers, my family moved to New Zealand, where some of my allegiance has shifted to the Auckland Blues. I have since moved to Brisbane where I have spent the last 8 years and I am now a Reds Supporter. In Saying this I still supports the Stormers and Blues. I am affectionately know as a Tri Nation from my friends. So event hough I support these 3 teams from my past, I am a keen follower of the rebels and their progression and I for one am very excited to see them enter the rugby landscape. I feel they will offer what no other team is currently offering, and that is a multi national super 15 team. With the likes of the AUS, NZ SA and English players there will be so much diversity. I am actually wishing they were my team up here. Keep up the good work with the information and looking forward to the official Launch
