Footscray and Endeavour Hills promoted to Premier Division
The Victorian Rugby Union board have recently promoted both Footscray RUFC and Endeavour Hills RUFC to the Premier Division for the 2011 season. This takes the total number of teams competing for the top prize in Victorian Rugby (the Dewar Shield) to ten.
Both clubs have previously competed in the Premier Division over their history, and also played each other in the 2nd Division A grand final this year.
We look forward to more exciting developments to Victorian Rugby in the short to long term, and the impact of our own Super Rugby franchise, the Rebels.
it will be interesting to see if these two teams will be competitive or just making up the numbers
