Bulls win back to back Super 14 Titles

The Bulls have won their third Super 14 Title, defeating the Stormers 25 - 17  in front of a packed Orlando Stadium in Soweto. It was a game with plenty of attacking flair from both sides, yet the Stormers well documented defense seemed to concede too many penalties, with Morne Steyn unforgiving with his boot.

Rebels combine International experience and League youth

English 10-Test veteran and current captain of New South Wales rugby club, Warringah, Michael Lipman, has signed with the Melbourne Rebels. Born in London but raised in Australia, where he discovered his passion for the game at St Joseph’s College before entering the NSW Waratahs Academy, Lipman was co-captain of Bath during Rebels Assistant Coach, Mark Bakewell’s tenure at the English club.

New Zealand born, Mark Bakewell began his coaching career in Australia .As coach of Eastern Suburbs in Sydney he won NSW coach of the year in 2000. His legacy arguably prepared the club for their 2003 Shute success.

They say strength comes from adversity. We often hear stories of people overcoming personal challenges. They don't only succeed, they shine. Essendon Football Club's Adam Ramanauskas is one example. He overcame fibromatosis, a low grade cancer to return to senior ranks. His story captured the football public. Melbourne though, as a new hero in Julian Huxley.
